how would you abbreviate the english words "casual" and "usual" to their first syllables? the abbreviated forms should be intuitive to someone who hasn't seen them before, and should not use graphemes outside of the 26 letters of the latin alphabet.
e.g. "she was dressed real caʒ", "i ordered the uʒ".
the words are pronounced /kæʒ/ and /ˈjuːʒ/, respectively.
also worth keeping in mind: does your method work well for other words using this phoneme? vision, invasion, etc.
