@benpate Is this a bug or by design? Just posted a news item to @iamimperfect and although it's appeared, I would have expected the Summary to be in the content of the toot.
If the summary was there it would mean people who are following you on Mastodon don't need to go to your website to see what's going on, unless they want the full picture.

Can I split the difference and call it “a design bug”?
We used to send summaries as a separate field, until I realized that Mastodon uses this as a “content warning” and removed it from our messages.
So at the moment, I think “summary” is only for the home page tiles.
Perhaps the *right* thing to do is to send the summary of it exists, otherwise, send the whole content.
I’ll add a task to the tracker. However we choose, this should be simple to correct.
