Is there a prebuilt nginx container out there ready to go with Mastodon static files setup?
That's really all that I'm missing at this point to have Mastodon entirely on K8s, and I really want to repurpose the SaltStack-managed Mastodon nodes into more K8s nodes.

ok so it turns out that the rails container will serve static files and nginx just needs to proxy to it
this is only documented in the sample nginx conf file distributed for fresh installs of mastodon because why wouldn't it be?

i suppose that with that out of the way things seem to finally work with the 100% k8s mastodon setup

@kouhai no, i have managed to avoid this thus far
i am gonna deploy some custom images for various weird custom stuff once i deploy gitlab locally though
