Welp. Liquid metal was a good call, this CPU runs hot as hell. It's thermal throttling despite liquid metal and a cooler rated at 230W max TDP (the CPU is rated at 95W).
On a more positive note: compile times will be greatly reduced. :blahaj: And perhaps I get a few more frames in games as well.

@Natanox Thatβs exactly how the CPU is designed to behave. It instantly hits the TDP and then throttles itself. It does so even if cooled with liquid nitrogen.

@teotwaki At some point it has to hit a performance threshold, doesn't it? I mean, it can only ramp up stuff like voltage and clock speed to a certain degree until things become unstable, right?
