They're actually down because of a pretty widespread backbone issues in US-East today causing some problems with multiple infra providers and their upstream ISPs

@thisismissem interesting. Is that a temporary situation while they develop the protocol out, or is that how it is supposed to work in the long term? I hope you don’t mind the questions, I’m still trying to wrap my head between ActivityPub and the atProto.

@docpop nope, I saw a chart which was basically writes to PDS's, PDSs to Relays, an AppView consumes the Relays and stores data in a database to provide a responsive UI & App API
