I really do not understand Threads' "picked for you" notifications. Like you already pick my entire feed, is that not enough for you? You need that much control??

@thisismissem same idea as youtube's "personalized" notifications.

I like the idea of letting users pick their algorithm and have it behave as expected.

e.g.,

"max 2 / week from each channel"

or other algorithms they get to pick

@risottobias nah, literally 90% of my notifications on threads are these not-actually-notifications or "Person you know on instagram automatically followed you on threads"
