Understanding and discovering communities on this emerging social network that is the Fediverse.

SocialHub (socialhub.activitypub.rocks)

The category was set up as discussion space for people working on pan-fediverse reference websites; guides and manuals, instance mapping, software research, etc. With the goal of allowing us to coordinate our efforts, support each other's work, avoid unnecessary duplication, etc.

I helped get the category set up on SocialHub as a member of team fediverse.party. I'm the original creator and current curator of the fediverse.party wiki (huge thanks to @smallcircles for keeping the homefires burning while I was ... indisposed from late 2020-late 2022).

I'm keen to work with JoinFediverse.wiki to mirror important content between the 2 wikis. In the medium-long term, maybe experiment with some kind of wiki federation.

Thats really cool. I was actually just thinking of using the SocialHub forum to get feedback and maybe some help with the JoinFediverseWiki.

I'm not home right now, but will look into it later and am happy to help any way I can.

I checked the spam and junk folders and double checked that the email is working and has no typo.

This is a known issue on SocialHub. I am no longer moderator, but maybe @how can check and manually validate the account.

For how long? That's a serious barrier to entry, and fixing it it a high priority for the accessibility of the forum.

Dunno exactly. The issue occurs sporadically I think, but for details you need to ask Hellekin. Fixing is also an admin thing.
