Hardware reviews mean I'm chained to an address, bound at home. This last round with Lunar Lake wore me down.
I'm seriously considering the digital nomad life for a while. Hike, travel, explore all the beautiful nature.
Write about Linux w/ the Framework 13 (which is 2 ounces lighter than my M1 MBP, so it wins!)
Live out of the backpack. Resupply like a thru-hiker. Come home periodically to enjoy the comforts, then get the hell back out there.

@killyourfm Any thoughts about a solar to dc battery pack... thing?
-
@tamitha None yet, I'm going to research that!
-
If that makes you happy, you can afford it, and it (optionally) means we also get to read about Linux power efficiency from you, then by all means please do it!
Your adventures are pretty inspiring @killyourfm, keep the cool pictures and story coming
-
@thibaultamartin Ha! You say this precisely when I'm charging up the framework 13 to see which distros will give me the most battery life!
And about the Linux coverage... I truly miss when my writing was exclusively focused on "here's why Linux is awesome, and why you should explore it." I want to get back to that.

@thibaultamartin By the way, I'm working on publishing a travel journal of my last backpacking trip. Definitely some stories to share!

@killyourfm
I saved this especially for this occasion. -
@cupcakerob HARD disagree.
