I think I've figured out why I dislike the 12-hour clock: the AM/PM cycle and the 12-hour cycle are out of sync.

I think I've figured out why I dislike the 12-hour clock: the AM/PM cycle and the 12-hour cycle are out of sync. There is a whole hour between it going from AM to PM (or PM to AM) and the 12-hour cycle starting over. Like it's 11:59AM and then when it gets to 12:00 it's suddenly PM? Makes no sense!
It would make much more sense if 12:00AM was noon and 12:00PM was midnight.
