@Zee I’m so jealous! What does type-2 fun mean… one of my favorite games from 25 years ago was the original Homeworld. Very classic.
Gotta fight for Higarra.

@Kowfm it’s pretty good, tho navigating the camera in 3D feels harder but maybe I’m an old

OK, so I wrapped up the #Homeworld3 campaign this weekend; did a couple solo "War Games" (little micro-campaigns with a smol fleet); played a random skirmish (lost my mothership at the 15m mark, but managed to keep a small fleet of raiders and did hit-and-run tactics against resource operations through end-of-30m mark); and then a co-op pre-made war-game from the discord.
The game has *so much* potential to be great. Like, so much.
Let's see how the MP and 1 year season pass plays out...

The War Games are *way* easier with a second person; but the main learning I took away is "focus on the objective"
I kept getting hung-up on trying to gather resources and my carrier got overwhelmed in the 2nd map in both of my solo attempts; and in the co-op I made the mistake of sending my entire fleet to guard my resource controllers in the 3rd map; leaving my carrier unguarded.
Oops.
But my ally took the rally point and we were took down the enemy carriers + battlecruisers.
