#Ukrainian intelligence reported that the strike possibly came from a neighbouring #Russian republics.

Chechen dictator Ramzan Kadyrov on Oct. 29 apparently boasted about using Ukrainian prisoners as human shields, claiming there were casualties among the captives after a drone strike on Chechnya.

#Russia had 2 nuclear training exercises in the last 2 weeks. The last one took place during N Korean FM's visit to Russia.
This is the 1st training which used ballistic missiles capable of hitting the #US .
#Putin said this would be a 'last resort', but Russia should be ready.

The nuclear drill comes as North Korea's foreign minister Choe Son Hui arrived in Russia on Tuesday - landing in the far east of the country on the way to Moscow.

#Ukraine and #Russia are to renew talks to halt strikes on energy facilities.
These talks began this summer but stopped after Ukraine's entered the #Kursk region.
A #Kremlin source told the FT that until Russia pushes Ukrainian troops out of the Kursk region, a deal is unlikely.
