and only woman because the same dude does not talk over everyone.

I don't know where you work but I have seen it all the time. There tends to be a whole back and forth. One thing I hate though is the folks who are like im not finished and your like ok finish and then they add nothing unique over what they already said.

I’ve had a lot of people, including professionals hypothesize that I might have it. When I was younger I was very opposed to Psychiatry and behavior altering meds so I didn’t really take them seriously or cooperate with their attempts to find out. But I think it’s possible.

In my experience of being the person who always gets talked over, women do it just as much as men

Record yourself speaking and you might see where you should improve. You might have long gaps, or unclear body language, or you're quiet, etc

Realizing you want to improve is the first step to growing into a better person!

One thing that kinda helped for me is realising that nobody will care about my point, if they're still thinking about the point they want to make themselves. Realising that helps me wait.
Only downside is that I then sometimes miss other points, and sometimes also forget my own point still.

Funnily enough the organisation I frequently sub to is the diametric opposite of that - it’s normally the women telling the men to stfu and concentrate on the matter being discussed. Us men are a belligerent lot, though, but we do get the job done and none of us have nanked each other yet. Fingers crossed.

In all fairness, there was 12 minutes left in the meeting and Bob has been waiting for the seniority members to shut up for 24 minutes to get a single word in edgewise.

I'm in the same boat, but one day I just stopped talking and started listening, mostly as a social experiment on myself. Now everyone thinks that I'm really smart. It tears me up inside sometimes, but I like the outcome.

The woman in my dept talks over me and the other dude all the time, she's very interrupt-y. She's great though we still love her, funny af and knowledgeable.

The latter kind of person is the one who makes these sorts of memes.

Or normal human thing that happens to be applicable to a large current spreading self diagnosis community.
Don't diagnose others.
