@StillIRise1963 @GeePawHill (And anyone else who’s read out articles.) Quick question … we’ll not so quick in all honesty. So I took a few months off from @ourhumanfam because I was simply burned out. As I regroup and slowly get back on the horse, do you think folks would enjoy stories from the past five years in the meantime? Unfortunately, American racism doesn’t seem to be going out of style any time soon. Thoughts?

@clayrivers That sounds like a good idea. The older ones might help people process the present a little better. @GeePawHill @ourhumanfam

Agreed! It's a good way to ramp up as you're recharging -- and it's all still relevant.

@jdp23 Thanks, Kon. Do you think people should be told what the deal is … that these are republished articles? Or just put it out there and let the. Figure it out? I think there’s enough good stuff to get through the end of the year. @StillIRise1963 @GeePawHill @ourhumanfam

Yes, it's good to tell people that, and let them know when it was first published (at least the year). The easiest way I've found to do it is just have boilerplate to cut-and-paste and put at the top of each post, update the year if necessary and you're doing. Sometimes I include a sentence or two about why it's still relevant, or what has and hasn't changed since them ... here's an example https://privacy.thenexus.today/lessons-so-far-from-mastodon-for-independent-social-networks/
