and it'd be funny to respond "well not with that attitude you can't!" except we are living downstream of basically a couple decades of that principle in action and, well,

@redoak the way this usually comes up in our experience is not directly, it comes up in like "your focus on individual actions like masking is wrong because you can't solve systemic problems that way", and then the same person goes on to say we should just solve the covid pandemic by shooting landlords.
