Set User Group to "Moderator"

Presently, I must specify moderators for every category one. user. at. a. time. Why doesn't the user group get the "Moderator" switch as well? This would make the life of an Admin much easier....

Wow! I didn't actually even realize this was an option, since it wasn't at the group level.

The system Moderator group is still being worked on and finalized, as it functions in a global context from what I understand. Category moderators allow for fine-tuning of access. In the mean time however, your moderators can be added to all categories with just a few clicks if needed.

@wrath625, not presently, and I'm running from master. One of the team members may be able to provide some update on the planned implementation. I took a quick look at the milestones and did not see this listed. Most likely the team will need to complete some other permission system alterations around the same time as well.

I really wanted to avoid what I (personally) felt was an overabundance of options for permissions. For example, look at Drupal's:

So we aimed to make it simple to use, though this often does come at the expense of power. We did revamp the permissions/privileges system a lot recently, so we're hoping the frontend will follow as well.
