@kissane @lrhodes My thinking has been "stretch the filter bubble, don't burst it". Extractive platforms have been using this playbook to radicalize people in the name of Engagement; can purposeful organizations apply it in reverse?

@kissane Well, Erin, thank you for writing this and sharing it. It is (as is typical!) spot on accurate, incredibly sobering, and the best thing I've read in ages. (I also keep in the back of my head how things were in the pre-AOL days of BBSes and online services and the like... not nostalgia, but a different era & path & time.)
