@julian yep, talking about that one. I've actually done some testing with a web app I developed on the performance between jQuery and vanilla JS. It's only sometimes that vanilla is really faster. (I did manage to get one jQuery routine from about 300ms to ~14ms with vanilla JS though!)

You can assign moderators to different categories, or allow someone to be ome a moderation by reaching a certain level of reputation.

To create new ranks in nodebb just go into the admin panel then click the new group button add a name and you are good to go

You do not want to create a group named Moderators, though, as it already exists. It would be best to add members who you want as moderators into the role via categories.

@Ted you do if you want to create a moderator "sticker" under the avatar.

@a_5mith, thought there was a big hit the fan issue regarding a Guest group creation a while back - or has that since been sorted?

The issue I had was from an import where all previously banned members went into a user called Guest. Groups work fine these days.

Also note that "sticker" under avatar only works in Lavender theme.
