I’ve heard similar from so many Black folks on Mastodon. It makes me sad and angry.

My understanding is that the “worst of the worst” actors are a relatively small pool of people, and I’m angry that so few can do so much harm.

But I’m also angry at the underlying community + architecture + social norms that •allow• so much harm go unchecked. Mastodon’s approach to inclusion & moderation just isn’t cutting it, despite extraordinary effort from instances.
