Hang on. Did they mean designer or developers? I didn't see the keynote, but that statement made by Figma sounds an awful lot like a big diss on designers and their talent. Why would a developer need this if they are working with a designer?

@Brilliantcrank the other important thing to note is that web/app ‘Design’ *without* AI reached the ‘smooth meh’ era more than a decade ago. @jensimmons famously made several talks about it. THAT is what these models are using as training. Personally, I’d rather it be trained on vintage 1998 Geocities, when we were all experimenting and doing weird shit.
