displaying public chat rooms in the chat panel

It would be cool to display public chat rooms within the chat panel, perhaps not as private chats (separately), but positioned in the top row sequentially... This way, new users can easily become aware of them...
I have illustrated an example below:

Additionally, icons can be used to distinguish public and private chat rooms on the right or left side... either with locked or unlocked lock icons; or open or closed eyes icons...

Or to get ideas from discord, the top part can be something similar to this…. Each public room is represented with # or selected icon…

It would indeed be helpful to make the public chat rooms more present. At the moment it's unfortunately a dead feature in our forum. Maybe we don't have the use case, but it's definitely too hidden. The current situation is that users have to go to the chat overview and, with luck, discover the chats by chance.
