The accuracy of Page Views in ACP

I am curious about the accuracy of page views statis reported in ACP. Since the middle of this month is traditional Spring festival. As Chinese based forum, I expect the page views will drop dramasticlly. However, it looks the same. Therefore, I am curious about the accuracy.
In the following page, it shows the unique vistors:

@sharonyue are you using another analytics application? we have google too, and usually have discrepancy between nodebb analytics and google analytics... I do not know specifically how each visit is counted for both but using more than 1 might be beneficial.

It's important to note that it is exceedingly difficult to properly classify bots, so it is very possible that these numbers are off by some margin.
Unfortunate fact of life on the internet nowadays
what I'd recommend is not looking at those numbers as absolute values, but to analyze them as trends.The bad news is bots don't take holidays so maybe your site is just seeing a lot of bot traffic (that tries and succeeds in disguising itself) that dwarfs real traffic.
