Can't sign in

Hey.
I have just setup NodeBB on Ubuntu with Mongodb as database and it starts up working fine but when I later try to sign in (like a few hours later or something) it no longer works to sign in and just says invalid login credentials even though it's correct. I have even tried making a new user with the NodeBB console but it doesn't work to login from that user either.

(Some info: VPS, Ubuntu 22.04, Mongodb 6, using domain with Nginx as proxy, have tried fresh install 3 times with both mongodb and NodeBB).

Im curious if this is related to the huge issue Ive had with email verification.
Ive had to disable email requirement in interim as email never arrives.
Im surprised nobody else is mentioning this.
It happens on a Nodebb hosted site too so its not my server.
So did you confirm email verification?
