Hello everyone. We are looking for developers to join the team. The goals of our project:

*NodeBB optimization;
Implementing and configuring PostgreSQL;
- Upgrading frontend from Bootstrap 3 to Bootstrap 5;
  Replacing the built-in chat with the Matrix chat (matrix.org). We will use a server based on https://github.com/matrix-org/dendrite;
- lFinish some plugins;
- Creating chatbots as in the Telegram.

Yes! That's it, didn't realised grunt was setup in a way to pick-up custom themes. It's working like a charm!

It is possible on the group page itself, for example if you search users on https://community.nodebb.org/groups/gamers it will only search that groups members. The front end doesn't have that option on /search though.

Hi

I m trying the Nodebb free trial . Love the forums.

Could you please help with basic set up for dev on windows, like what javascript IDE I should use and repository set up etc.

I haven't done proper development for so many years, last IDE I used was eclipse I guess

I want to override some stuff, like Changing text 'New topic' to 'Submit'

I understand plugin the only way to do as I m on nodebb cloud ?

Also how do I install my own plugins ?

Hope I can get some help with these, thanks much for your time

@KitsuneSolar nodebb-plugin-dbsearch does not support In-Topic searching. You will have to use nodebb-plugin-solr

Seems to work for me. Wildcards aren't recognized, though. Don't know if that ever was the case.

The error is thrown by (line 18)
escapeSpecialChars = function(s) { return s.replace(/([\+\-&\|!\{\}[]\^"~\*\?:\\\ ])/g, function(match) { return '\\' + match; }); },
because the query string variable name in the payload seems to have changed from .query to .content. Thus s.replace fails, because s is of type undefined insted of the expected string.
