LT Looking for #cooking #cookware advice.
I need a pan or skillet or something where I can start cooking on an electric (regular, not induction) glass top stove and finish in the oven, and maybe broil. I don't need super fancy, but I'm ok spending a few bucks. I thought about cast iron, but I've read about how some pans might scratch glass tops. What ya got for me?
Please retoot if you're so inclined. Thanks!

@jackbrewster I totally hate the handles, but I've learnt to live with them. All Clad makes good stuff, and every 6 months or so, Williams Sonoma have a sale (they're also induction-ready when you are)… which happens to be RIGHT NOW!
Just avoid the nonstick stuff, and you can do hob-to-oven just fine.
While I personally have the 5-ply (D5) (I have an old-school electric hob), the "D3" 3 ply 'regular' line is just fine.

@jackbrewster wha?!?!?! That's the weirdest thing!!
No idea, but it's probably Labo(u)r Day related, so maybe a week or more?
Oh! You're in Europe now!! D'oh!! I forgot about that.

@jackbrewster yup, just double checked… Labour Day sale, starting now, so probably a week.
