Noob question

I want to add a functionality to create-pages module that when it brings the post its shows images

i want my home page looks like a blog with news that i will upload

See this topic for breaking changes in 1.19.0 https://community.nodebb.org/post/86172. You can rename middleware.authenticateOrGuest to middleware.authenticateRequest

You need to override the template and add {aName} into it to display it. Depending on where you want to add it you will have to create a new tpl file that overrides one of the files in https://github.com/NodeBB/nodebb-plugin-composer-default/tree/master/static/templates.

@julian There didn't appear to be a way of managing this number plus I assumed there are already lots of things node already does to modify this number.

I wanted completely control of it, including the ability to "spend" it on things down the road.

@PitaJ I think I found a way, I use client-side on 'action:ajaxify.end': components.get('topic').append(html) where html is the parsed (by jQuery) element I want to show.

If there is a way to do that server side instead of client side, I would really appreciate if you let me know 😂

And also I don't really get how can I understand what every hook method takes as parameters, when I click on one of them in the hooks list on GitHub, it just show me a line of code, and I don't get what that line means (for example in filters:parse.post goes where there is an if statement, what that means?)
