YouTube maybe possibly buying Twitch for about $1billion.

Not sure how I feel about this if it happens. On one side, it could open the door to more streamers and a better twitch app for the iPad, but on the other side, content ID matching may have to come into force due to it being a YouTube owned company, meaning in game audio = copyright.

@Scuzz same as Apple & Facebook then really. Any big company with money, just wants to own any smaller company that wants money in order to make more money.

I imagine it's a case of the bigger company wanting to stay relevant, or keeping their competition from taking over (a la David & Goliath) by buying them outright.
