    Actually, it was a backend issue 😁 we update the forum fairly often, but not always for smaller issues like this one.

    Hi guys,

    I absolute want to migrate one of my forum to NodeBB but I'm looking for a theme which looks like a forum and not what it looks now like "latests posts" on the index page even if it doesn't look bad but not my cup of tea.

    Is there any theme which corresponds to my needs or a custom theme is the best solution in this case?

    I don't know if it exists but a vertical postbit looks awesome and what about another header because the one by default looks tiny?

    @educator Hi there. Fellow Indian here. I would recommend DigitalOcean over Vultr due to a number of reasons having used both. However there is a 3rd option which is better imo and that is Linode. 2 main reasons.

    Linode offers double RAM at 10$. You get 2gb RAM instead of 1gb for 10$. What I am getting from your post is that you want a 5$ plan. However it will be insufficient for even a small sized forum. Try going for the 2gb RAM option at Linode. Unless you are a registered business in India you shall have to pay 15% service tax on Digitalocean as of Jan 1 2016. Businesses dont have to pay this tax as long as they dont have a turnover of greater than 10 lacs per annum. This is because DO has officially entered the Indian Market and will need to comply with the Indian Tax authorities. This is not the case of Linode as they dont have an Indian office . This means that the DO plan at 10$ will be more than twice expensive when compared to Linode.

    Never had any kind of performance issues. Always quick loading with no delays.

    I can't say that for all of my vb run forums.

    "Safe", I think, is relative. Not many things are out of reach of the NSA 😄

    But like how a password will keep 99% of unwanted visitors out, IP whitelisting might keep out 99.9999%, and Tor might increase that to 99.999999% 😆

    @dmytri Yes, you'd have to remove all references to third-party assets. Shouldn't be too difficult, I imagine...
