The Raw Elections BC numbers, updated hourly, is here:
I heard this morning that there were around 100 votes still to count today for some of the ridings. The NDP would only need an advantage of about 65%-35% to overcome a 12 vote deficit.

@stephanie they are going through the very last absentee ballots! It's basically one by one as they have to unpack, verify, transpose, each one. Today will be the end of the count.
-
@chris @stephanie Is 48 in play? I forget where Kelowna Centre was at last week and how much it shifted over the weekend. I don’t think Courtenay-Comox is likely to squeak in, even though the weekend halved the CON’s lead
-
@dx @stephanie The gap is shrinking there as well, but it's still 60 votes. So I don't think there are enough absentee ballots for the NDP to overcome that. I think the result will be either 46-44-2 or 47-43-2

@Lstn2urmama not quite! It's so close that it is down to counting the very last votes that came in late (absentee ballots)!

12PM UPDATE! Surrey-Guildford FLIPPED!
NDP now in the lead with 8843 votes
CPBC has 8829!A difference of 14 votes!
That means NDP is leading/elected in 47 to CPBC 44!
A *bare* majority! (Likely will still need to have cooperation with Greens to guarantee stability)Byelection, coin toss, paper chits: Election tiebreaking in Canada | CBC News
A P.E.I. provincial election recount resulted in a tie Tuesday and, according to the province's Election Act, that called for a tiebreaking coin toss.

1PM Update.
NDP holding on to the Surrey-Guildford riding now, but narrowed 3 votes… just a 9 vote lead over the Conservatives.
This is insane.
The other close ridings don't seem to be moving enough to portend a potential switch, but who knows!

2PM Update, the NDP continues to lead by 18 in Surrey-Guildford, and now the Kelowna Centre is tightening. Just a 46 votes. If that one flipped to NDP then it would be a little more solid majority. #CPBC #BCElxn2024 #BCPoli #CanPoli #CdnPoli
