The rock ain't floating, it's falling with some speed sideways.
And the absurdity of the universe, in wich your biomechanical functions are part of, shouldn't impact the value we make of us.
This was my first reaction as well... We most certainly are not literally on a floating rock. Stay in school, meme creator.

And for future readers, to learn from this:
In order to acquire something, learn to let go first.
Sorry, I'm not letting go of my Yu-Gi-Oh cards.
Yu-Gi-Oh before hoes.

We are excited dust that formed by accident on a mud ball hurdling through space at 67,000mph in a minor spiral arm of our galaxy.
Nothing matters. So go for it.
At least make the shot count.
My buddy with the fedora is really just looking for friendship first. He has a lot of female friends. Saw a girl with a cool shirt, brought it up, and they spent the hour talking and pretty sure they're doing coffee dates now and moving into something more.
Where my brother who is a gym rat goes around asking literally every woman under the sun if they want to have dinner. I watched him go up to the bartender, ask her out, get rejected, then while walking to the bathroom, get rejected by a girl waiting in line in the bathroom. He calls it a numbers game and is oblivious of how he sees women. Also yuck when he asked out the bartender.

You did the right thing.

But aren't I supposed to be ready to do that stuff? Like shouldn't I be "working on myself" so that I can ask girls out? Don't people "like" confident people? Feels like there's context missing here.

Not sure if itโs used anywhere else, but itโs the cover for the Hold / She Was EP by Dabin

My other trick was, at a party, to sit in a big easy chair and slowly fall asleep while looking at someone I liked. it's a trick I learned from a cat.
Is that something that cats do?
