Tommy Vercetti, is that you? I'm actually literally installing Vice City right now, what are the odds.

Anyway -- custom homepage is deprecated, use custom pages plugin instead, create the page you want, and then set it as homepage in the homepage settings in the ACP.

There's a non-zero chance custom pages doesn't work in latest master, but should be fine in 1.10.2.

@julian Well, on v1.10.2 I've got problems with custom-pages. It doesn't really work and the templates created don't seem to include any URLs/redirects/permalinks.

Can you repro these on a brand new install of 1.10.2? How about 1.10.1?
