As expected, Trump's "peace plan" for Ukraine is to just force them to give up and let Moscow have everything they wanted. Literally rewarding the aggressor for their aggression.

Oh and the US should fund no part of the new "peace". Cool, cool. A great international partner to build alliances with.

@Techaltar "The quickest way of ending a war is to lose it."
Now, do you want the war and deaths to end or want to win no matter what it costs? Because that's ultimately how it is with every single war in the history of mankind. -
@Techaltar 800 miles is around 1200 km, right?
-
@yura presumably this is the length of the line, not the width
-
What "at all costs" though? The US sent <5% of their yearly military budget, often old stuff they would have retired anyway, and with loads of limitations. This is the cost the US is unwilling to take.
Whether Ukraine wants to keep fighting is up to them and so far the country has decided they do. I can't say it's a very convincing argument that a defender should just be foreced to give up
-
@Techaltar And if he succeeds in bullying the pro-Ukraine side into accepting that, then China will se it as a signal that they can just take Taiwan and Trump will just demand a «peace» where China wins. Next up, Korea…

@Techaltar How do you guys stay hopeful in life?
