It really is, and I think it's degrading the way people think. People have to much to process they tend to rush through each item as fast as possible, taking a few seconds to make a kneekerk value judgement before scrolling to the next thing. It's shrinking attention spans, discouraging analytical skills, and encouraging meme-level thinking - all handy tools fearmongers and other con artists exploit.
