It's just random fucking shit breaking constantly on every kind of device and every kind of OS
Sometimes it feels like this entire field is just shitty code, chaotic nondeterminism, and constant bullshit day in, day out, top to bottom.
Just... ugh.
(Ignore me. I'm just here in my corner being annoyed.)

@baldur In my opinion, paving it wouldn't help if the general attitude towards software doesn't change.
Software should be solving problems for users. It shouldn't be a performance-hogging, inaccessible, constantly breaking, hard-to-maintain heap of semi-functional junk that was created by tech-savvy people with only their type of person in mind.
Don't even get me started on using a shitty app for years because a developer took shortcuts for a few months, or wanted to "play."

@baldur Reason 257290 of why using the manually programmable "delayed start" feature of my washing machine was the technology that brought me the most joy recently.
