Upgrade issues

So I'm trying to upgrade 0.3.2 to 0.4.0, but git-pull returns:

fatal: Could not read from remote repository.

Please make sure you have the correct access rights and the repository exists.

What or where's is the problem? Btw, I've been doing this for the past 2 months with no problem, so I have no idea why this should happen when upgrading to 0.4.0

Is it still happening, and are you on the master branch? Try switching to the v0.4.x branch:

git checkout v0.4.x

Seems like your local copy didn't quite get to pull, which you did say in the OP *facepalm*...

git fetch, then? If that works, then checkout to v0.4.0 again

Hm... occasionally I get js errors from your ad script. Can you try moving all of the widgets to the drafts section, and see if that resolves it temporarily?

Messed up on my end. Mostly the site hangs and I have to force reload before it shows the full page. On Chrome Web console, I get:

WebSocket connection to 'ws://forum.linuxbsdos.com/socket.io/1/websocket/Zs91CdJ09UNyJSkglTmX' failed: Unexpected response code: 502 http://forum.linuxbsdos.com/
Uncaught TypeError: object is not a function

Can you run NodeBB in dev mode and let me know the line number that error happens on?

Btw, the only widgets on the sidebars are NodeBB's, none of my HTML widgets are active.

Home page on FF

Home page on Chrome. Going nuts! Is it the same on your end?

I see it how it is in the second screenshot (as I'm using Chrome)... I am seeing it not ajaxify between pages properly...

Dev mode: ./nodebb dev

Then take a look at the web inspector and let me know what shows up when you switch pages.

Oh, while you're at it... try this:

Turn off your NodeBB
Delete the /public/templates folder, it will be regenerated on restart
Start your NodeBB
Progress?
