Built-in Reward Essential doesn't work

I'm using v1.7.x and mongodb, I used the skeleton of reward essential to add reputation for "Post Count" event, but it doesn't work, no reputation added.

I set Post Count to 1 and AwardReputation to 1, nothing happened after posting.

I have the same problem since upgrading to v1.6x
It seems, that the api has changed and I also have the impression, that the rewards module is not maintained at the moment.

Looks like @baris already fixed it? May I know where can I find the code? I can merge it to my local one
