Error cant upgrade NodeBB

I followed the tutorial on the docs for version 0.8.x as it is the latest. and it returns the following log when doing ./nodebb upgradeitalicised text

The docs are at docs.nodebb.org. Try again. v0.8.x is very old and unsupported

v1.6.1 is the latest.
