Yep, Mastodon for iOS stopped producing push notifications since today. New update didn't seem to fix the issue.

@cyberamateur @screaminggoat FWIW, I just installed and signed into the mastodon app on my iPhone, went into settings in the mastodon app, and enabled all the notification types and it immediately started sending me notifications

@jerry @cyberamateur I deleted the app (and data) and reinstalled it prior to mentioning it publicly. Might check if iOS has an update.

@screaminggoat @cyberamateur be sure to go into the in app settings and enable notifications. They default to off in the app. That is different than the notification settings you’ll find in the iOS settings control panel for notifications

@jerry @cyberamateur funny, the Mastodon app doesn't recognize that I reenabled notifications from the iOS Settings until after I killed the app. Just gotta wait for a random ping to appear.
