pkill -9 node then ./nodebb restart and service nginx restart fixed all problems. It seems a previous NodeBB was still running in memory 😳
@PitaJ thans a lot for the help! Truly amazing app with excellent community support!
We are attempting to move our MongoDB install to a different server. I set that up and used
mongorestore to restore a
mongodump from the previous server. After that I changed the config.json to point to the new host, and I tried to connect.
node app.js I get:
27/4 16:31 - info: NodeBB v1.4.0 Copyright (C) 2013-2017 NodeBB Inc. 27/4 16:31 - info: This program comes with ABSOLUTELY NO WARRANTY. 27/4 16:31 - info: This is free software, and you are welcome to redistribute it under certain conditions. 27/4 16:31 - info: 27/4 16:31 - info: Time: Thu Apr 27 2017 16:31:42 GMT-0400 (EDT) 27/4 16:31 - info: Initializing NodeBB v1.4.0 27/4 16:31 - error: NodeBB could not connect to your Mongo database. Mongo returned the following error: undefined 27/4 16:31 - error: err=socketHandler, trace=, bin=undefined, sizeOfMessage=1347703880, bytesRead=undefined, stubBuffer=undefined
What am I missing here?
Can anyone help here? I've not been able to figure anything out past this point.
