    Remove spaces from username prior to login credential matching

    Hi @julien, @PitaJ ,

    Assume you have a forum user with a username of: "[email protected]"
    The user may login to the forum using his password.

    However, if the user typed "[email protected] " (note the space following the email), the credentials wont' match.
    The added space can be a result of copy/paste, or just an error from the user side.

    I verified this behavior with this forum as well. It can be easily replicated by yourself.

    I think this can help, and it may be a small change. Not sure however 🙂

    I am grateful that NodeBB users now have the option to fully participate with respect and anonymity. Last week I was convinced that email verification was an essential part of spam control. Now I see email as purely a personal choice. Spammers don't have a chance now that I'm using the registration queue, post queue, and minimum reputation for profile enhancements.

    I want you to add in all the widgets an extra option besides "hide from anonymous users" and "hide from registered users" ->

    "Hide from unverified users"

    I think it's so obvious that it doesn't really need explaining why.
