Currently have the ridiculously wide monitor doing picture-by-picture split from two devices. The window in each device is a full screen terminal, each multiplexed via tmux.

@randomgeek the only problem with that setup is that the visual point of interest is always going to be off to the side; what if the wide monitor were portrait mode?

@nebkor Nearly forgot to mention one important aspect of the split. I've got it set up so my primary system gets 2/3 of the monitor, and secondary gets 1/3.

But 49" curved arranged vertically would still be cool, despite the inevitable neck strain.
