@Rairii Would you trust a Loongarch platform right now? They only get designed and manufactured by China with strong government influence, not sure that's something for the future. ‍️

@Natanox yeah but that's what makes it so fun. its not like i'd be using it as a main system, if it turns out loongarch or that specific soc is backdoored by china then it makes it even more of a collectors/museum piece

@Rairii @Natanox isn't LoongArch basically just an overglorified edit of some late revision of the MIPS64 arch spec? I'm sure patching instructions would be easy due to the similarities between the two.

@winload_exe @Rairii It's even marketed as "easily translatable" (not sure about the wording, but apparently it's close enough for simplified translation layers).
