#Vivaldi gang: what’s the best way to make Cmd + Shift + C behave the same as in any other browser?
That is,
- open the dev tools if they are closed, and activate the element selector
- but/and/pretty please also activate it when they are already openI’m enjoying Vivaldi a lot (the workspaces and quick commands, specifically) but the broken element selector prevents me from doing my/any web dev work.

@simeon This is EXACTLY why I can’t begin to switch from developing on Firefox!

@trey Same! I decided to try Vivaldi for real (it’s been on my radar for years) after the latest Mozilla AI shenanigans.
It’s been a great ride so far except for the DevTools. I like Firefox’ better and of course the element selector is broken.
Perfect combo: Vivaldi with Firefox’s DevTools. 🥰
A small upside to this ordeal: I discovered LibreWolf and Waterfox.
