Carbon emissions associated with manufacturing the boiler and the heat pump are offset in less than 2 years.
After that the heat pump will save carbon year on year.

What’s the sunk carbon cost on the manufacture of a new heat pump? I can’t imagine it changes the conclusion that much, but if this is about replacing an existing boiler, those curves shouldn’t all met at t=0.
