Open letter to [email protected] I don’t think anyone particularly wants you off the fediverse permanently. What would be nice though is for you to show respect to other developers. The "Fediverse" isn’t a pissing contest about who has the most users, it’s about creating a resilient network with a variety of software, it’s about choice in what software you use and who you trust to administrate it. I certainly don’t want you to feel bullied off the platform but I think you should take a step back and do some self reflection. Is this behavior representative of your projects? Do you want people to associate pixelfed and loops with this?

I’d ping him but I don’t want to feel antagonized. I just want him to stop digging his own grave and take the holiday off.

@puppygirlhornypost2 I think most people just want him to step away, take his meds if he has them, and see a therapist about getting on some of he doesn't. Get your head right Dan.

@[email protected] the dude clearly has ambition and projects like pixelfed are something to be proud of. I just wish he’d set his ego aside and realize the entire nature of this network is collaboration.

@varimbehphen yeah like genuinely I struggle with mental health issues I don’t want to make fun of him for it. I wouldn’t want to see his projects die out like so many others before him who were unable to keep themselves in check.
