So you can do pretty much anything and event anything with full arbitrary values (so long as the name is unique, and the namespace exists).
Want to emit an event related to something completely unrelated in cluster? no problem, just populate the object with whatever.
This feels both wildly empowering, and kind of irresponsible with the datastore (etcd).

@chuck long post so Mastodon Web client only showed first line and that with some fading out at the bottom.
Long story short I saw "Over here doing B&D", clicked in, saw Kubernetes, and it all still fit by the time I hit "wildly empowering, and kind of irresponsible"
