@killyourfm I hope it's less boring than the Z1 Extreme, which was just a Ryzen 7 7840U with the NPU disabled. Given history it'll probably just be a Strix Point chip with a couple minor tweaks.

@dm I'm actually drafting something about that. After seeing that MSI is using Lunar Lake for its Claw sequel, Acer is entering the market with Radeon 780M graphics (just like ROG Ally X/Legion GO) and games like Final Fantasy 16 and Space Marine 2 can't hit 30fps on Steam Deck, but ARE playable on the other devices...
The question is basically how much longer Steam Deck can survive without a meaningful processor upgrade. Not past 2025, no way.

@serebit Damn, Strix Point would be such a massive leap forward in performance. Radeon 890M or better would be flat out awesome in these devices. I *think* Valve will take the semi-custom APU route again, though, like they did with Aerith.
