PLOT THREADS
* Emacs has a long-time association with a problematic older man. No one wants to talk about it.
* Flashback to when vim and emacs were MUCH younger and ran in different social circles. Back then Vim was a sullen goth and went by Ed; Emacs, having a Chunni phase, went by "Teco" and was terrible at communication
* "Evil Mode": It turns out vim and emacs can enter "Evil Mode" where they do a fusion and become a terrifying many-armed Kali/Ashura entity. No one wants to talk about it

@mcc does gedit just wander through the background, presence otherwise unacknowledged or touched on

"What about Nano/Pico?"

@mcc Geany: A Gen X era fitness enthusiast who always gets straight to the point. She is an introvert that abhors small talk and sticks to socializing with a close, but select group of friends, to which she is loyal, but not the jealous type about it. She grew up in Germany and while fluent in English, sometimes speaks with a slight German accent.
-
@vwbusguy I literally don't know what Geany is except after reading this I do

@mcc ED: The wise old well traveled semi-retired philosopher. Takes life one moment at a time. Has been around and seen it all, but is now forgetful and asks for help remembering what the conversation is currently about, but in those rare moments of clarity, offers up some deep, ancient, and timeless advice. Accent is very strongly from the old country, but which specific old country is never identified.

@Brett_E_Carlock @mcc Ah, yes, she comes up in the Halloween special when people are telling spooky stories around the campfire. Spoiler: She kills Anjuta.
