YMMV is a fair caveat.
Havent talked to mine in 3 years. I feel more at peace with my values and less torn up when I hear their transphobic Hunter Biden rhetoric, I'll say that.

It was cool for like the first six years or so; not getting invited to weddings and stuff on account of like, obligation avoidance or whatever. The years when everyone else took COVID seriously made it easier, too.
But I feel like I was just coming around to maybe extending an olive branch and; nah. Not after this week.
Shit's heartbreaking.
