so as you may have seen yesterday, cohost will be shutting down at the end of the year (after a read-only period starting october 1). it was a hard decision. i'm sad about it. i resisted saying the words "incredible journey" even once in the announcement post.

on that note, i am currently looking for work. i'm targeting staff-or-above frontend (or frontend-focused fullstack) roles.
i made a longer post on cohost; you can either contact me via the means there or send me a DM here if you'd like to chat.
eggbug's not paying me anymore. i need a job
as of last thursday i am technically unemployed. i spent all my savings moving out of florida on three week notice earlier this year so i don't have a ton of time to rest. i am looking for staff-or-above frontend (or frontend-focused fullstack) work. i do not want to be a people manager but i will consider technical-leadership roles. i would prefer remote roles but i am willing to do in-office or hybrid in boston. i will not relocate. i've spent the last five years doing this. cohost's backend is built on node.js, typescript, and server-side rendered react.js. the frontend is react.js and typescript. it's deployed using kubernetes. i already had a decade of experience building tools and doing fullstack work prior to this. my full resume is available upon request; message me on linkedin [https://www.linkedin.com/in/yrfriendjkap/] or e-mail me [[email protected]]. thanks.
