@evan Not many of those "strong self-correcting mechanisms" of democracy seem to be happening right at this moment in time. But we have learned an awful lot about how the rich can overthrow one in a bloodless coup.

@steter (That's because democracy doesn't really "work" and is kinda dumb, child-like bullshit. But, I think @evan is using it in a less sociopolitical kinda way and in more of a metaphorical or philosophical kinda way within the context of software and sorts of anarchistic distributed governance not existing under a central order or singular system.)
